a 3-Cell Li-poly system When
the voltage of 3-cell battery drops to 8.19V, the ESC will be Note: this
option is only suitable for the fully charge and good battery packs. 4. Thermal protection: When the ESC’s temperature raises to 80° C that causes by over current or improper airflow, the thermal protection will be enable. Then the power will be decreased by the ESC. The flyer should prepare for landing in time. 5. Safe power on alarm: When the flyer turns on the ESC power, it will automatically detect the transmitter signal. If the throttle stick was not at the minimum or maximum point for entering the “set up” mode, the motor will not be running. The alarm will be enabling at the same time. 6. Aircraft locator: When
the aircraft was landing in an unexpected location, for example, a
long grass field, the flyer could enable the aircraft locator by shut down the power
of transmitter. When the ESC stops getting the signal from PPM receiver in 30 seconds, it will start
to send alarm to the motor. The alarm sound will help the flyer to locate the aircraft. |
| Set Up Mode |
Set up mode: you
need to firstly connect the ESC BEC connector to the throttle channel
of the receiver. Please refer to the user manual of your radio system.
The second step is to connect the 3 power-out signal pins to the brushless
motor. Before your turn on the transmitter, please adjust the throttle
stick to the maximum at full throttle position. Then you could connect
the batter to the ESC. You will hear confirmation sounds as soon as
your enter the Set Up mode. Please refer to the attached flow chart
for details. |
