Hey, I'm Eric Weber from Germany.
I have been flying model aircrafts for meanwhile 13 years and model helicopters for 11 years.
My first 3D competition was in 2007 the Munich-Heli-Masters and over the years I flew many competitions around the world. I'm very happy to got the chance to fly Align helicopters because of the fitting accuracy of all parts and the performance as well is great at all.
I'm happy and proud to say that I archived my biggest victorys with the brand Align.
Euroflugtag 2017 08-13
Back at home after nine great days with the German F3C/N Team in Poland, 2017 FAI World Champion Ship is over. We had such a great time :-) What a close and taff competition with the best pilots in the world. Hardly missed the "three of a kind", would had been so nice :-), congratulations Kenny Ko for winning and Jamie Robertson whom finished in third position. And it was even closer in the Team Champion Ship, what a great feeling to stand on top :-) Congratulations Team Great Britain and Denmark who finished in second and third position :-) Of course, congratulations to all other pilots F3C/N. I want to use this opportunity to say a "BIG thank you" to everyone for your great support. My sponsors, family and friends ✌✌✌ #Align, #Kontronik, #Futaba, #Optipower, #Freakware 07-31
# Day 7 What a busy day full of practice and competition flights in unpredictable weather conditions. We had almost everything, except snow, today. Sunny and warm in the morning, very windy with a lot of gusts mid day followed by heavy rain showers combined with thunderstorm in the afternoon. Finally all planed final flights for today in both classes could successfully accomplished even so with some delays. Tomorrow F3C and F3N will have its final day with the last final flights, closing ceremony and banquet in the evening :-) 07-28
# Day 6 No competition flights today, therefor official practice F3C and F3N at the main field. The same circumstances as befor the preliminary rounds, every pilot had again ten minutes to get comfortable with the flight field where the finals will be held tomorrow and Saturday. We met up again at our meanwhile standard practice field befor and after the official practice. Unfortunately I got bad luck and crashed due to a tail issue while practising for tomorrow right before we had to leave for our official practice. Fortunately we're able to fix the damage just in time and could finish the day with some more flights. Although the weather was quite good in the morning with even a bit of sun, dark clouds appeard at noon at it s been raining for the last two hours... Let's see what will happen tomorrow... 07-27
# Day 5 All preliminary flights in both classes are done. What a close competition, the finals will be Friday and Saturday. 07-26
# Day 4 It was a pretty rainy day, F3C finished the third preliminary round even so a lot of pilots had to fly in the rain. The only advantage, no wind in the afternoon. Tomorrow will be the last flight before the final starts on friday. F3N had to struggle with the same problems, rain showers and windy in the morning, more and more rain after the noon brake. At least all pilots were able to fly the first round Set Manouveres except short delays. Unfortunately our second round Freestyle has been delayed till tomorrow morning. It s gonna be a busy day for us tomorrow, we 're supposed to start with Freestyle followed by Set Manouveres and finally Flight to Music in case the weather won t be as bad as today... Fingers crossed... 07-25
# Day 3 Second competition day for the F3C Pilots. Fortunately the weather conditions were better than yesterday, less wind and not so gusty. Two out of four preliminary flights are acomplished, all the best to all pilots for the next flights. All F3N competitors came to the competition field for official practice and modell processing. Every Pilot had ten minutes to get comfortable with the main field. We flew as much as possible without any issues and we're looking forward to tomorrow. Competition starts at eight o clock with "Set Manouveres" followed by "Freestyle" in the afternoon. Let's see how the weather will be tomorrow, as currently the forecast says rain for the entire day. We may should get a rubber boat... 07-24
# Day 2 First competition flights F3C done, we went to the field to support our Teammates. Unfortunately the wind conditions became pretty bad in the afternoon and many pilots struggled a lot. Although F3N haven't had official flights today we met up at the practice field. Our first competition day will be tuesday, hopefully the weather isn't as bad as the forecast says :-) fingers crossed Time for BBQ... 07-23
# Day 1 After 10 hours of driving, including a one hour traffic jam due to an accident, we finally arrived in Poland safely. Some impressions from today's opening ceremony... 07-22
Last after work practice session for the world champion ship successfully accomplished. Everything works perfect :-) Wish everybody a save trip to Poland, see you there :-) 07-20
