I’ve been flying model helicopters competitively since 2003.
I enjoy traveling to new events, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and sharing
the common passion for model aviation. My full time day job is with an airline as a mechanic. If I am
not flying helis and airplanes in my spare time, I am riding motorcycles, swimming, wakeboarding, or relaxing with friends.
Align has produced industry leading helicopters for very long time. I find them extremely reliable, very robust,
simple to build, and attractive looking. I am very happy with all of my Align models and would recommend them to anyone!

Got my heli table finished up today. Some older Align flybared rotorhead parts and CYE blades made for a good subject.

12-21Ever wonder what a composite rotor blade is constructed of? No? Well now you know anyway 😅Back in the day we used to fly laminated wood blades, the now standard carbon or fiberglass blades were considered an up-grade.
12-20It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally back up on my feet! I attended my first event since June, and am super happy to be back behind the sticks. It was great to see everyone today at the WOW fun fly.

09-12I haven't posted much in a while, and unfortunately won't be able to attend IRCHA for the first time in 14 years. 6 weeks ago I had a motorcycle accident which has taken a toll all of my hobbies and plans. I'm expecting to make a full recovery, but it's taking time - about another month until I can start walking again. I'm very disappointed to be missing one of my favorite events, I hope everyone has a great time! I look forward to flying helicopters (and airplanes... yes, I said it. Don't hold it against me) soon!
